Welcome

Emileo Fernandez

I was born in Whittington Hospital and raised in Enfield and have lived here my whole life. I went to Enfield Grammar School in Enfield Town, where my roots in the community deepened.

At 12, I joined 85 Squadron Air Cadets and remained an active member until the age of 20. During my time there, I reached the rank of Corporal, achieved Master Cadet classification, earned the Cadet Method of Instruction lanyard, and gained a number of qualifications including bronze gliding wings, a silver marksman badge, a blue Duke of Edinburgh badge, and a blue road marching badge. These experiences gave me skills in leadership, discipline, and teamwork.

After finishing school, I studied an Extended Diploma in Music at college and now I’m at university pursuing a BSc (Hons) in Sound Engineering and Audio Production. Alongside my studies, I’ve been active in creative work — mixing live performances, supporting student productions, and working on film projects. These opportunities have strengthened my communication and organisational abilities.

Through all of this, Enfield has always been my home. I know the challenges and opportunities our borough faces because I’ve lived them too. That’s why I’m standing for councillor: to be a strong, proactive voice for residents.

My commitment is simple — to listen, act, and stay focused on the community.

I have decided to stand in the 2026 local elections as a councillor for a ward in Enfield (TBC). This is not a decision I’ve taken lightly — it comes from years of living here, seeing the issues first-hand, and feeling increasingly frustrated with how Enfield Council has been run under the current Labour administration.

Too often, residents feel ignored, services are stretched thin, and decisions are made without genuine accountability. I believe real change is needed — change that puts the community first, delivers on promises, and restores trust in local government.

I want to be a councillor who listens, who takes residents seriously, and who focuses on practical solutions to the everyday challenges people in Enfield face.

Our mission is simple: to put the people of Enfield first. For too long, local politics has felt distant from the everyday concerns of residents. Sometimes it feels like speaking to the council is like shouting into the wind — you get a draft back, but not much else.

We want to change that. As Reform councillors, we would consult properly and deeply with the community, making sure residents are not just “ticked off a list” but genuinely listened to. Unlike Labour’s current administration, we believe real accountability means involving people in the decisions that affect their lives.

We are focused on community — from cleaner streets and safer neighbourhoods, to supporting local businesses and protecting vital public services. Every decision should be guided by what strengthens our borough and improves quality of life for all who live here.
